Route description

A challenging cycling trail starts in Janské Lázně, then continue along route number 22 or along the yellow tourist sign to the Černá hora branch and continue to Černou boudu. You will continue on road number 296 to Temný Důl and then to Horní Maršov. Then you’ll be back in Janske Lazne. The route is suitable for mountain bikes (MTB), a high elevation to the Black Mountain and a downhill drive to the Dark Mine.

Route description

The medium-hard route is suitable for cross-country (trekking) bikes. On the way you will admire the beautiful nature of KRNAPU. Your journey starts in Špindlerův Mlýn – Svatý Petr, continue along the blue tourist sign on the Plane and then by cycling to Strážné, Kotelský potok and Dolní Dvůr. The end of the trip is in Lanov.

In the lookout points along the ridges go out of Trutnov, where you will go to Bezděkov, Odolov, Horní Kostelec, Kostelecká Končina, Horní Rybníky to Zábrodí. This is a small route suitable for mountain bikes (MTB)

Sights on the Jilemnice circuit

Route description

On medium-hard runs, you have the opportunity to explore Jilemnice and, on that occasion, visit many of the local sights. First round the bike in Jilemnice near U Labute, continue to Kozinec, Pod Kozincem and to the beginning of the pedestrian educational trail. You will continue to the picture guide, Martinic and Mlýnský pond. Then you will reach Horní Branná, the Bohdanka signpost, Jilemnice, Lomy u Hrabačova and eventually the starting points of the route to the guest house. The route is suitable for cross bikes (trekking) and mountain bikes (MTB).

Circle Poniklé around the ruins of Nístějka

Route description

The route is suitable for road and cross (trekking) bikes, all along the asphalt roads. From Poniklé you will go to Hradsko, Dolní Dusnice, Bratrouchov and Vrata – Sv. John. Continue in direction to Starý Mlýn and to Jestřábí in Krkonoše and back to Ponikla. Do not forget to enjoy the beautiful views of the Jestřábí and Bratrouchov.

The Dolní Malá Upa Ring Road

Route description

The circuit is loop-shaped and takes you through the second and third class roads. The route begins in Lower Mala Upa in Spálený Mlýně, continues around the church and further on to Pomezní Boudy, where you can count on more traffic on the road. You will pass under Seidl’s Mill and then return to Spaleny Mill.

On the ridges of Jizera-Krkonoše highway

Route description

If you start in Žacléř, head towards the Cross Cross on the green path, from here green and red to the Kutná signpost. You will also be led by a yellow trail through Horní Maršov to the route above the Blue Stones. Here the green trail leads you to the valley above the Javořím valley. There is a red path leading to the Prague Castle in Lučiny. The company will make a green route from Lučenská Pražská Bouda. To follow the exact route of the highway, follow the asphalt road (below), which takes you to the Front Renner Huts, and there is a red trail that will take you to the René’s Rider’s Booths. Here, choose a yellow route that will take you to Klínov boudy. Turn left into the green marked path that you follow up to Spindler’s Mill. More specifically, the blue path to the square will lead you to the end. Here you can choose a red route and you will pass through Horní Mísečky around Vrbatova bouda. From the Vrbata highway, select the yellow route to the Labská meadow. Here the green trail leads you to Vosecká bouda, here you go to Krakonoš’s rosette where you will meet the blue route leading around Mumlava. At Mumlavský vodopád turn right to yellow and you have to go to Harrachov itself.

The route was created mainly as a winter cross-country skiing trail. However, thanks to cycling routes and asphalt roads, it is almost entirely cycling. The train station has more variants, so it is worthwhile to leave the road from time to time and to visit other attractive places of Krkonoše.

From Český ráj to the Krkonoše

Route description

The trail starts at Benešov near Semil, where you will follow the marked cycling route No. 4174. The road goes to Příkrého, where it intersects the main road and goes down to the valley of the river with the unusual name Vosmenda at the crossroads under the village of Bozkov. Behind this intersection, along the same Cycle Route No. 4174, you will be waiting for a stretch of climb that will take you to Bozkov. From Bozkov you will continue on the road above Jesenny, where you turn to the right on cycling trail No. 4173. You will pass through the village Roztoky near Semil, where an old windmill with accessible exposition stands on Staroveský potok. Go to Helkovice, where you turn right and enjoy a short stretch of road II. along with Cycle Route No. 4170. You will still be on the Route No. 4173, which will soon turn you to the left, to Roprachtice. From here the trail rises to the back of Čertovka, which offers very nice views of the western Giant Mountains. Then follow the downhill to Dolní Sytová, where you will take the bell to the left on the 2nd road. class. After a short drive, turn right onto the Peřimov Bridge, which spans the Jizera River and is a well-known technical monument. You are still on the cycling route No. 4173 and you will follow Peřimov and Mříčná. At the junction behind this village, take the right onto Cycle Route No. 4171 and step into pedestrians towards Libštát. Halfway down the road, turn left and follow the marked routes to Bělá. The section will introduce you to the nice quiet valley Oleška and then return you to Libstatata again on route No. 4171. You will continue along the remarkable bridge over the Oleška River and your bike will be on the edge of Lomnice nad Popelkou. Here you will turn right on the already famous route No. 4174, after which you will go through Stružinec to Košťálov. Behind the bridge across Olešku, turn right onto the main road, from which you turn to the left after a while. There is a strenuous climb on you. Another short stretch of the road between Čivásk and Valdice runs parallel to Cycling Route No. 4175. Continue on Route No. 4174, after which you will get to Bystré nad Jizerou and drive to Jizera to Loukova. At the bridge you can make a stop and visit the local Museum of Technology. After that, the final section of the road awaits you, turn left after the bridge and take the trail 4174, which runs along with Route 4170, and return to Benesov at Semil. Most of this nice circuit runs along asphalt roads, some stretches cross the field roads. This route is particularly suitable for trekking bikes.

The path of this undemanding route leads along asphalt and paved surfaces and is also suitable for trips with children.It starts at the peak of Peace Square, where you go from the church of St.Laurel towards west.The cycling trail runs parallel to the yellow tourist sign and at the end of the village passes on the left side of the Krkonoše Museum and the cemetery.Take the road behind the road to the right and continue through the Vrchlabí crossing-over the monastery.

The road begins in the center of Harrachov, where you can go by the information center and U Bedřich restaurant to the bus station.At the stop there is a biking trail, which will guide you on the path leading to the waterfalls.Walk around the granite building of Šindelka, where there is a forest and hunting exhibition and if you have time and taste, you will definitely stop here, especially with children.Among the exhibits you can see the most well-known stuffed animals or the wintering cloth.

From Trutnov through Prkenný Důl to Rychory

Route description

From Trutnov square you can cycle No. 4213 from the Information Center. You will pass Horská, Poštovní Street, via the iron bridge across the river to Novodvorská, R.A.Dvorský, Rudolf Friml and Hornoměstská, where the route leaves to the left of Poříčská street, at the intersection of the Dvůrka inn, turns left and right after it.Drive through the quarter of Nové Dvory and turn right at the junction with Jeřábová Street, where the cycle path is copied by the Nove Dvory-Babi Nature Trail and the red hiking trail is added.At the crossroads, Bučina leads you to the left and you reach the Vébrovka cottage.It dates back to 1923 and was a renowned cruise restaurant.With the change of owners over the years, however, its use has changed, and for example, in the years 2002 – 2014, the charity festival Webrovkafest supported children from children’s homes.This interesting object is now waiting for its new use.

From Harrachov from the funicular to Čertova hora you will go towards the Czech / PL Harrachov-Celnice crossing.The signpost Harrachov-pod Celnicí tells you through the yellow marker that the crossing Krakonoš’s breakfast where you are heading is 13.5 km.The road runs along a pleasant asphalt surface and practically does not change over the entire track.Do not just look over the handlebars for a trip, but enjoy the beautiful views around you.

From Špindlerův Mlýn through the valley of the Bílé Labe

Route description

From the White Bridge in the center of Špindlerův Mlýn, take the blue tourist route K14. The path leads along the river to the Medvědín cable car. You will go to the crossing Pod Dívčí strání and around one of the bunkers of the Republican fortifications located on the Dívčích strání and around the confluence of the rivers Elbe and White Elbe. At the crossroads, turn right and drive to the renowned, stylish Myslivna restaurant. From there you will continue to the crossroads of the Dívčí lávka, which is the beginning of the Elbe mine and then the K16 cycle path along the crossing under the Deer Shadows along the river to the Great Waterfall, the largest on the White Elbe. There is a nice stretch, hiding at different distances from the other waterfalls: Big Jump, Boulder, Long and Plotn Waterfall. You can see plenty of nice small peaks. Then you will see the Bouda at the White Elbe, which is located in the White Elbe Valley at the crossroads of tourist routes from Špindlerův Mlýn, Špindlerův bouda and Luční bouda. It offers a seating area in the restaurant with terrace, and in summer you can enjoy grilled delicacies. It is a nice place to relax before you step back in the pedals and head the same way back to Špindlerův Mlýn.

Above the Labe valley from Bedřichov to Labská

Route description

From Bedřichov from parking P1 you drive along the road to the center of Spindleruv Mlyn, but soon you turn left and head towards Labská, which is part of Špindlerův Mlýn and lies about 2.5 km southwest of the town. You will go on a bike trail no. 11, which runs alongside the green tourist sign and crosses Labská, where the route intersects with the slopes. Along the same road you will pass the Labský valley on Třídomí and you will have a nice stretch with nice views to the crossroad on Rovinka, where cross-country trails from Špindlerův Mlýn, Benecka, Žalý, Horní Míseček and Janovy Hory cross. On Rovinská, which is about 4 km from Labska, a cozy timbered cottage with a traditional tourist refreshment is waiting for you all year round. In the summer you can enjoy grilled specialties, children’s playground is prepared, and everyone without age can try walking walks available to visitors. From Rovina you will return to Labřická Street to Bedřichov.

From Cestník to the Rýchorský Cross

Route description

To the tourist crossroads Path (1003 m.), Which lies in the saddle between the Long Ridge and Lysečin Bouda, you will get from Horní Malá Úpa. The road runs parallel to the path of Fairy Tales with the characters of writer Marie Kubátová. On the Traveler there is a tourist indicator with marked footpaths and biking trails, there is a seating area for tourists and there is a nice view of the parts of the eastern Krkonoše. Then you will head down Long Ridge down to Upper Marshow, a popular holiday resort lying in the valley at the confluence of the Upa with the Lysekin stream. You will pass through the Old Mountain and head for Horní Maršov. In front of the village the marked cycling trail turns along with the yellow mark and rises up the Maršovská hilltop to the Mánkova cesta crossroad and to Rýchorám.

Route description

At the church in Mala Upa you will head on the K24 route, with which the Fairytale Route, the singing stops of which are composed by the texts of the writer Marie Kubátová. Minete family pension Permoník and adjacent ski slopes, restaurant Rusalka and you will arrive at the crossroads Spálený Mlýn. The signpost is located on the banks of the Úpa river on the edge of the parking lot and leads marked tourist routes to Dolní Malá Úpa, Velké Úpy, Portášky, Růžohorky, Pec pod Sněžkou, Stará hora, Horní Maršov and Pomezní Boudy. Here you go to the right and around Niklova Hill you will reach Žacléřský bouda, where the road turns to Doubrava’s waterfall and the K25 trail is just passing from the other side of Niklův vrch. Walk around Jelení hora (1172 m), where you can enjoy a nice view from the sight-seeing area.
